April 20, 2018 - Truly excellent. Full of flavors, fully bodied and probably at peak now. The wine is in an intermediate stage, somewhere between young and mature. The initial oak flavour settles down with aeration. There is dark ripe fruit, tobacco, leather, gravel minerality. The wine starts off a little robust on the palate, then slowly smoothens and becomes perfectly elegant. Still has sturdy tannins. Give it plenty of air. Great now, could age further but I would drink within the next 2-4 years to be sure that we are still on this great drinking plateau. Great QPR at 16€.
