April 21, 2018 - Champagnes vs CA Sparklers (My house): Tasted blind, I thought this was the Louis Roederer. It was up against a low-performing Carneros curve (ala Tattinger), which made it seem tastier. My notes say it was smoothly put together with more restrained and elegant fruit than the sparkler alongside. Obviously Champagne.
