May 1, 2018 - The second bottle I’ve opened and this one was extremely advanced. Heavy prune on the nose, dried fruit and leather on the palate and lingering celery on the finish. Good acidity helped to make this somewhat drinkable, but it wasn’t enjoyable. Poured blind for some knowledgeable folks who thought it might be a late 70s or 1980s Bordeaux blend.

5/3/18, 2:13 PM - Also from Envoyer. I think I’ll send a note to Greg.

8/24/18, 11:31 AM - Greg opened a bottle and said it was excellent. Very fresh. So that was the end of that. I'm a bit surprised that he wasn't willing to do anything about it, but c'est la vie.

12/23/18, 2:26 PM - My last one was cooked as well. Prune stew. At least i knew to bring a back up bottle. Disappointing but i feel the vast majority of bottles envoyer have supplied me have been cellared well.

    Cheers and best holiday wishes,

    Bruce
