May 8, 2018 - Had high expectations on this wine after reading several recommendations, but I have to say I was disappointed. Maybe I am not able to recognise the future potential but for me this wine is not in balance. There are some nice features, especially the fruit on the nose, but the wine also has an abundance of dark minerals, iron and licorice that gets rather dominant. The acidity and tannins are harsh at the moment but will probably improve with time. Do not try this wine without food, and I would wait several years before opening another bottle.

5/8/18, 1:43 PM - I often joke that I've never tasted a bottle of Brovia that is ready to drink. :) In any event, this one needs at least 10 more years before checking back in. Thanks for taking one for the team.
