  May 8, 2018 - Burnt onion and sulphur notes on the nose. Stewed prunes, roasted meat, and decaying wood as well. Barnyard, funky, leather, stewed roasted meat mixed with notes of blackberries and blueberries. Slight notes of strawberry on the back of the palate as well. Delicious, and more of a northern rhone style than CDP. Good tannic astringency shows this has staying power. Great effort!
