  May 22, 2018 - It seems like the Cote de Castillon is the sweet spot for well-priced wine in the Bay Area lately, as I have found a number of bargains including this one, on sale for less than $15.
  
  This has good acidity, flavors of cassis and blackberry, and chalky tannins. I find the tannins a little raw and the fruit a bit short to be really enjoyable.
