June 8, 2018 - My first bottle of a case plus of this vintage. Too early, but such a delicious, complex and substantial wine. Black stained cork...the wine has no visable signs of aging at 8 years and has the stuffing for the long haul. A nose of chocolate, currants and dark berry leaps from the decanter across the room. Complex palate of bramble, currants, chocolate, graphite which evolved over the few hours we drank it. The fine tannins are pervasive and create a welcoming mouth feel. Lengthy finish. Buy this one if you can find it. I will open the second bottle in a few years, but I believe this wine will be delicious for decades.
