  June 9, 2018 - Ripe fruit up front followed by heavy oak with a strong vanilla finish that lingered. Seems to be near its peak with some life. Popped and poured through a Vinturi. Matt's buy (his birthday).

  6/9/18, 9:18 PM - I strongly recommend that you do not put older wines through a venturi. It works great for younger wines. If you use it on a wine more than 4-5 years old, it could have a drastic adverse effect.

  6/9/18, 9:23 PM - The 2007 is not that delicate. The Vinturi was not my choice, but you could also say the same thing for decanters, depending on the wine, vintage, etc.
