  June 15, 2018 - Popped, aerated, and poured. Enjoyed with grilled steaks. Dark violet, rich, and inky in complexion with long, slow, sexy legs. BlackBerry, clove, a bit of black currant, espresso and a hint of tobacco on the nose. It’s beautiful earthy, old world forest floor scent cought my attention and briefly had me reminiscing about well wasted time, late at night, on the backwaters of the upper Mississippi River in my youth. Dark berry and cassis flavors are well balanced by softening tannins. Medium to full bodied, with a pleasantly viscous texture and a long, soft finish that leaves you just a little heart-broken that its over, once its over...
