June 19, 2018 - Corked. So disappointed. I checked a bag so that I could take this home from visiting the winery in Alsace. It cost me an hour of sleep because it took so long to get my bag last night. And so looking forward to drinking tonight but it was corked. Bad luck.

I am often there and the house will do that for you.

8/24/18, 1:52 PM - Thanks Sven I wish I had known that—I was traveling in Europe at the time and did not keep the bottle or cork. It was unmistakeably ‘corked’ but of course TCA can get into the wine from other sources than the cork. Good to know for the future as it was indeed very strange and I would have liked to send it back to them.
