  June 30, 2018 - The Clos du Val was decanted for three hours prior to consumption. While the nose exhibited dark fruit and peaty funk, the palate remained somewhat restrained and tight with quality fruit and a bit of funk. However, not much complexity and surprisingly short finish and resolved tannins.
