July 3, 2018 - Deep ruby in colour. On the nose, it is developing with medium (+) intensity of violets, red cherries, star anise, bush herbs, earthy white pepper. The wine is dry, medium body, medium (+) acidity, medium (+) sweet tannins, medium alcohol, medium (+) flavour intensity of red cherries, mushroom, savoury meat and spices, . Finish is medium (+). Wine is very good, great example of a cool climate shiraz, tastes like an excellent northern rhone syrah, well-balanced and good complexity, can drink now and suitable for aging.
