  July 15, 2018 - Alcohol and grape/blackberry on the nose. Very fruit forward with a heavy dose of blackberry jam on the palate. Straight forward wine without much complexity and no mid-palate. Medium plus tannins and high acidity with a long fruity finish. If you enjoy wines that focus on a fruit forward palate, this wine is for you. It is a great expression of this style with good structure, but a minimum of mouthfeel. Drank this with a coffee/chili rubbed prime rib steak... a little too fruity for a perfect pairing, but not bad. This is in its drinking window now. I would say 2017-2020.
