  August 4, 2018 - Definitely well into its secondary phase. Two hour decant at cellar temp. Great gamy nose full of black fruit and earthy tones, with pencil shavings and licorice too. A small amount of brett, but not at all off-putting and it actually adds to the appeal. Medium bodied, but super complex and with a finish that goes on for hours. Could still taste the wine this morning after two glasses last night. Based on this bottle, the wine has another decade to go, but it's darn good right now.
