  May 19, 2018 - BYO: This is pretty stunning wine when it performs and it certainly did on this occasion.
  There is an enormous acidity that fits the very dark fruits nicely. Packed with tannins and in total this is a wine that is best served with food.
  Despite that this is a very powerful wine, the lovely acidity makes a pleasure to drink. Lovely balance and med-long aftertaste.

  8/31/18, 3:59 AM - It was double decanted a 4-5 hours in advance.. So, first into a decanter, let it stand for 30 min and then back in the bottle for the rest of the time. Just allowing it to get a little bit of air and evolve slowly. Worked like a charm :-)
