  June 8, 2008 - Wally's Champagne Event at Le Merigot in Santa Monica: This has to be the most overpriced champagne ever. It is fairly terrible and was the least favorite champagne at the event. a thin, boring, unimaginative wine. yes the bottles IS bling and it IS in a rap video but for $290 a bottle I could buy Salon, vintage Krug, Dom Ruinart or a half dozen bottles of Billecart Salmon Brut.
  
  This is the Champagne for people who know nothing about champagne and want to share it with other people who know nothing about champagne (and want to pretend they are really cool).
