  September 18, 2018 - Popped and poured. In the glass, dark purple. On the nose and palate, blackberry, mocha, caramel and toasty oak. This full-bodied effort is a Cabernet Sauvignon lover's Merlot. The tannins are smooth as silk and the wine comes up a wee bit short on the finish; so, I'd drink it now rather than waiting for it to improve with a few years in the cellar.
