  September 21, 2018 - I first tried this wine in a vertical tasting at the winery in June of 2011. I remember it being my third favorite vintage at the time, after the 2005 and 2004. It went through a dumb phase for 3 or 4 years. Rest assured, it has come back with a vengeance, and is drinking great. I opened 24 hours ago and had a small pour, Vacu-vinned and put in the fridge overnight. Today, poured a glass and let it come up to cellar temperature. Notes of cassis, cranberry and chocolate on the palate. Beautiful, rich mouthfeel with smooth tannins and a long finish. One of my favorite wines. Robert Young rocks!
