  September 21, 2018 - Typical Bertheau in the sense that this has an airy profile with high-toned red-toned fruit and stony backbone and shows plenty of Chambolle character. Sharply acidic, very "2013". Ancillary notes of violet, ginger and beetroot. The acidity is slightly jarring on day 1.
  
  Update: Day 2 - the sharpness has rounded out considerably and is showing forward beetroot and violet tones on top of red fruit and a typical Chambole base. Much improved and very good!
