October 1, 2018 - Good berry aromas, medium violet color, medium ripe fruit. Lots of alcohol that's not very integrated. Unbalanced, short on fruit, can't see time being on the side of this wine. Three days to finish...unimpressed.

9/1/19, 7:47 AM - Sorry to hear that, quite a shame. We had it among a massive line-up including Dunn Howell, J. Daniel Lail, Rudius, and 2 dozen other $$-$$$ mostly magnificent reds, and felt it held its own enough to buy 2 for myself on comparative QPR. Certainly transport, storage, aging, decanting, glassware, context, etc. matters, and there's always the possibility of it being cooked, corked, closed down, or just bad wine-making. With this site and TRB however, it simply should not happen. The 12 was smooth as silk recently and the 14 getting ready to rock in next 2 - 3 years. Hope you can give it another try with better results.
