October 6, 2018 - the bottle I opened still showed a good bit of fine grained wood on the pop. It receded quickly, and was in a lovely spot, but structure and fruit is still there if you have a good cellar and want to hold these a bit longer. The CT drinking window is too short. With confidence I can say this should drink nicely until 2022 - you won't nees an "old wine" palate to enjoy this then.
Regarding tasting notes, this is a down the middle masculine Supertuscan of very good but not outstanding quality. It's what you'd expect, will work with the foods you'd expect - red meats, heavy red pasta dishes.1,858 views
