October 17, 2018 - An interesting review recently suggesting this was on the way out! Not in my opinion having opened a bottle for my sons 26th birthday. In fact, this is just starting to get interesting. Double decanted along with a Penfolds St Henri from the same year and a 2006 Chateau Musar. The SM has moved out of the closed stage but still has the hallmark fruit of a left bank wine. Some interesting tertiary flavours are evident and this was a really enjoyable bottle. I have a few more to go at and am in no hurry.

10/17/18, 6:33 PM - This isn't even close to being in its window. It needs at least 15 years from bottling which makes it 2025. Hold your other bottles for a minimum of another 5-10 years and you will be amply rewarded, my friend!
