  October 17, 2018 - Our last bottle of the vintage. Decanted off the residual sediment. Bright, brick garnet. Nose took a few moments to reveal dried red and black fruits with spice and tobacco. Fruits carry thru on palate. More cocoa, olive and leather than tobacco on the palate. Alcohol, acidity and tannins are seamless right now with very good balance but not overwhelming complex only a medium+ finish.
