  October 15, 2018 - Deep ripe strawberries and black raspberry fruit, leaning from red to purple in profile with an ever-so-slight hint of rhubarb and orange rind. Ripe, round fruit sits atop a linear mineral base. Contrast between the round fruit and linear base creates a bit of a void in the middle that is tough to fill (this was remedied by using a narrower glass, though at the expense of subtly). Subtle ancillary notes of herbs, gamebird, smoke, and damp dog. Medium finish and with good balance and poise.
