October 26, 2018 - Very good Cab and nice value. Dare I say it tastes (and costs) like a poor man's Hillside Select, which is no insult.

The pours are generous so if you like Shafer wines, it’s probably a good deal at $75/per. The informational session was pretty basic/traditional but the wines were good, if a bit heavy.
The hillside is the best overall but they all seem to be of a type. I agree with both comments above. One point five is quite similar to (although maybe not as dense as) Hillside select and I would probably rather have 3-4 bottles vs just 1. Actually dollar for dollar, I thought relentless was the most interesting wine on the table. Curious to see how all behave with age. I have some 1.5 half bottles that will sleep a while -
