October 27, 2018 - Restrained floral nose, 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 ruby/purple/black color, very nice balance with toned-down acidity, alcohol and tannins underlying solid red/purple fruit flavors. I don't remember ever having anything else from Covington Cellars, and pretty sure this was a fairly cheap wine, i.e. $10-$15 a bottle, a great value in the end. Didn't knock me out - thus the 91 score - but quite a well made wine with almost nothing in the way of faults.
