  October 14, 2018 - This wine is developing nicely. The dark fruits are still very prominent and powerful, although they are starting to soften a little, providing a seamless transition into the mid-palate. This is a very intense wine, with power of the fruit balanced by sultry and smokey flavours through the mid-palate. Some roasted fennel has now joined the party, providing a nice aniseed lick on the finish. The tannins are soft, and have an ultra-fine, talc like consistency and the balance is good. Very nice.
