November 7, 2018 - Outstanding from the first whiff on the nose. This is why we age wine. Still youthful, rich, fruit that shows tremendous balance between palate-staining ripe red currant, and BlackBerry and soil tones. Some distant chalky minerality comes through on the backside. Then subtle notes of Flora, leather, balsamic and Evergreen. Lots of depth here. Minimal tannins, compared to my last bottle which had some coarseness on the tail end. Shows good muscle without sacrificing grace and elegance.

    Excellent - Drinking wonderfully
