November 17, 2018 - Amber colour. Powerful nose with botrytis, caramel and similar notes (butterscotch, burnt sugar), dried apricot, some red berries, some smoky notes, some volatile acidity. The palate is quite sweet - distinctly sweeter than a regular Sauternes - concentrated and viscous, with dried apricot, fried apples, caramel, various spice notes, and good acidity, but with some alcohol coming through. The aftertaste is sweet and spicy. Fully developed but likely to stay at this stage for quite some time, 94 p.

The palate is more impressive than the nose, but still a bit rough. Like most Suduirauts of this era, this wine has developed faster than the typical high-end Sauternes.
