  November 23, 2018 - Langton's VII masterclass with Andrew Caillard MW (W Hotel Guangzhou): I've got to be honest, this was actually pretty awesome. massive and ripe and clearly from some very old vines. thyme, chocolate, berries and spicy oak, this is thick, rich, as ripe as anything and yet so well balance and drinkable. the oak and tannin you really don't notice. excellent acidity. this needs years and years but wonderful today. not a style i normally gravitate towards but really impressive.
