  December 1, 2018 - More restrained and backward than the 2006 Aria’s I had recently. These wines seems to be aging like a dream. Dark ruby core with a violet rim, no signs of bricking. Blackberry, wet asphalt, bacon, lavender. Beautiful fruit and acidity with the tannins still firm. Will probably age my last bottle for at least another ten years.
