  December 2, 2018 - Opened, not decanted. Deep garnet-purple in color, with aromas of smoky dried berry, black licorice, mocha, and a wild game note dissipating with a bit with air, though it was not unpleasant. The palate shows rich flavors of plum, blueberry, dark chocolate, and bacon fat. Medium acid and tannin, with a beautiful texture and long finish.
