November 18, 2018 - Exceptionally good and well balanced old German riesling-based ice wine, closed out Kim's 51st b-day dinner with this. A 375 cc split and this has at least a decade+ of life left with proper cellaring. Dark amber, very well balanced, no tannins at all, good fruit and acid present with good structure and backbone. Nose initially muted compared to palate but aromatics developed nicely - tangerines, warm peach, bourbon and maple syrup on the nose. Palate rich but balanced with honey, caramel, figs, apricot and classic creme brule. A super long delectable aftertaste lingers on forever. HIGHLY recommend this. THANK YOU Tim Wallace of the Charlotte NC Wine Vault for this.
