Community Tasting Note

December 5, 2018 - Twelve hour decant. Deep dark magenta color. Black cherry, chocolate malt balls, butter rum, toffee, banana and subtle orange rind on the wonderfully fragrant, yet brooding nose. Satiny smooth, dusty palate. Fine tannins on the very long, lingering finish.

This is a rare wine that has a very rich nose, but with absolutely no extraction. I also finally understand what “Rutherford dust” means. :)
