December 6, 2018 - This has certainly come into its own and is drinking beautifully right now. It did need a 1 hour decant and then opened up; showcasing it's smooth and integrated slightly creamy and mineral self.

12/8/18, 7:18 AM - Sounds like I need to try their wines. I haven't had many of Kirk Venge's higher-end cabs with Venge Vineyards but I've enjoyed what he's done with Janzen Cellars for a while. Would you be inclined to go with the 2013 vintage before the more recent vintages since it has some bottle age? Thanks.

12/8/18, 11:45 AM - They are really good and under the radar. The '13 is definitely better than the '15 but the '16 (not released until next fall) is actually the best. If you end up with the '15, it will need a 2-3 hour decant. Highly recommended.
