  December 9, 2018 - First 6 hours this is tight as a nut. Feels thin, sharp, acidic, but very good fruit material. No trace of all the opulence that was there upon release. This is what a Syrah tunnel feels like! Then, almost like magic, the wine starts to open up and the last glass is marvellous, with all the floral perfume as well as some sweet, cinnamon tinged dark fruit that just overflows the glass with its aroma. And the wine feels softer on the palate as well. Wow. This will be great in ten years time but if you drink it now, make sure you decant and let air for a day before serving!
