  December 15, 2018 - This is the best Barolo I have ever had in my 30 years of tasting wine. Gave it 5 hour decant, still exhibited a youth full nose of bright cherry, elegant mushroom, intergraded dark field berries. Palate is reserved of same but very balanced in acid, tannins, and fruit. Had with a grilled veal chop which showed off the wine’s true expression. Drank over 2 hours, and every taste was better than the last. A total epiphany of a great wine-this is why I collect wine!
