December 25, 2018 - I had high hopes for Xmas dinner pairing with prime rib. The wine was tired, with a lot of musky funk on the nose. Double decanted for 3 hours. No improvement at all. Little fruit on the palate. Anise (which I don’t like) and baking spices predominate. So disappointed.
