December 25, 2018 - A Double Magnum perfectly decanted by Peter for Christmas lunch with the McCormick family and Simon & Di. Fine limpid appearance, a beautiful wine from the last of a trio of outstanding vintages in Pomerol. Remarkably smooth and elegant. Probably holding back some of its future complexities, but we wouldn't have noticed that on an occasion such as this (it followed vintage Bollinger, and Yquem '83 with the foie gras). Lovely.
