  January 1, 2019 - Very disjointed upon opening, with little fruit and a lot of acid. Decanted for 2 hours, at which point the fruit emerged and the volatile acids started to settle down. It ended up being a nice if rustic wine. Plenty of cassis by three and a half hours, and a score that kept nudging higher until the bottle was finished. Good, but never approaching great.
