January 6, 2019 - This is a bit difficult upon opening, but really good after one night open. Light yellow. In the nose, there's a lot of funk (there was too much funk upon opening), it's quite sulphuric, a bit of oak as well. Underneath all of that, it's super clean, bright and pure, lemony fruit, some peach as well. In the mouth, it's super, bright again, direct, straightforward, slightly spicy, a bit nervous, quite chalky, nice and fresh acidity, long finish. Exactly my kind of Puligny-Montrachet.
