  January 7, 2019 - Hmmm, not as exciting as it was at a tasting a few months prior. Seems a bit closed off in the fruit dept and therefore the oak is quite dominant. OK with some ageing potential but so much better value is out there from BC like the Fifth Element from Road 13 or the Hourglass from Black Widow.

  1/9/19, 7:10 AM - Hourglass is hard to get anymore. Fifth Element is at Everything Wine usually. Totally agree though that for $50, there's "more interesting" wine than BO meritage. Poplar Grove Legacy also.
