  January 17, 2019 - I had kind of a Jekyll/Hyde experience with this wine. When first opened, it was a hot mess: almost no fruit and all acid, not coherent, and barely drinkable. It was definitely not the same wine I had last time.
  
  However, after a few hours of air, it seems to have bounced back. The acid is back in line, the red fruit (barely ripe raspberry, wild strawberry, pomegranate, etc) is coming to the fore, and some secondary characteristics are showing. It doesn't seem quite as good as the first bottle, but it's definitely much better than it first appeared.
  
  Enjoyed with bar-be-que turkey burgers and sweet potato fries. Definitely not a winning combination...
