  January 18, 2019 - Interesting. On the nose - immediately dark red fruits, notably strawberry and cranberry. But, after letting it open up for 30 minutes it changed dramatically - smoke and meat rose to the top and it became very earthy. Faintly burnt rubber.
  
  On the palate, it has nice structure, good acidity - soft, round and nearly silky. Mainly cranberry and cherry notes.
  
  It's a nice wine, holds together very well but I'm not crazy about the backend of it. It's missing a little something.
