  January 20, 2019 - Good ripe fruit on the nose (black currant). Fresh, elegant, dry style, not too heavy body, but excellent silky palate with fine-grained tannins that adds a real grip at the end. Some mocha notes but the oak is really well integrated.
  
  Mix of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with some Cabernet Franc (hard to tell, could easily have passed for pure cabernet Sauvignon) from the vineyard that is the highest elevation in the Clare Valley. There is sweet fruit and some oak for sure, but it's balanced and elegant.
  
  Really easy to drink now, although I suspect it will improve over next ten years.
