January 26, 2019 - BYOB "High Altitude wines" - blind tasting (Sollentuna): At first this was exhibiting that weird combo of asphalt and roses, bitter from kernels chewed. Then with several hours of air more red berries and licorice tea and suddenly the wine that I first thought about as structure without fruit had it all going. Intellectually challenging and not for everyone but there is quality here. Needs to rest ten years I think.
