January 27, 2019 - Superb aromatic expression, very pure, with a lot of energy. The body is in tune. Slender, dynamic, with a mineral watermark of ultimate finesse. We are in the exact transcription of the terroir of Ausone. This is one of the main characteristics of this vintage: the most successful wines are the perfect transcription of their place, it is the essence of the terroir. No vintage effect = perfect reproduction of the genius of the place.

6/24/21, 3:12 AM - No, sorry. I haven't tasted a lot of Bordeaux this year because I am very busy with the fabulous 2019 of Bourgogne (and 2018 too) and Cotes du Rhone (white for the North and red for the South) They have been the greatest for very long time. (if you need advice ...)
The Bordeaux that I really adored, in addition to those already mentioned, are Larcis Ducasse, L.Poyferré, SmithHL rouge, Saint-Pierre (St Julien), Chevalier blanc, Trotanoy and two gems at fabulous prices Laroque and Mazeyres (those there, I bought some) -
