January 26, 2019 - Sat, 01/26/19, $2 Tasting (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): 73% S.B. & 27% Semillon from the Sagemoor (51%), Boushey (29%), & Klipsun (20%) Vyds that's apparently barrel fermented with lees contact
N: Slightly closed; Earth, poss toast, with a frt character I can't place
P: Med, poss MF, body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt offset by an acidity which defines the wine into & through the LONG, tangy/swt finish with a very, VERY slight bitterness which just MAY be a +. For now & likely EARLY '20. My VG+, poss VG+/EXC- [or arguably even higher based upon the (closeout?) QPR of this vendor's $13.95, which is an UNBELIEVABLE $11 < than wine-searcher's next lowest posting!] 93 pts Vinous (Tanzer), 91 WA (Dunnuck), & 17/20 Jancis Robinson.3 people found this helpful 2,348 views

1/27/19, 1:04 PM - Vintage Wines Ltd. in San Diego. www.vintagewinessd.com . You may want to phone them, (858) 549-2112 , as it may not be listed on their site. [This was part of a weekly Sat tasting in their shop.]
