  February 2, 2019 - Elegant and burly, sweet and savory. Dark fruit, game, leather, spice, floral/violet notes, a touch of white pepper plenty of acid on the finish. Extremely smooth for its age.

  2/3/19, 10:41 AM - I didn't get much acid on the finish. Seems as the acid falls out of these wines in the 5-7 year time frame. Just had one two days ago.

  2/4/19, 5:51 AM - Interesting. I still had a quarter of the bottle left on Sunday and tasted again. I definitely got a pleasant mouth watering acidity on the finish that imparted a little more life and energy to the wine after a heavy/savory mid-palate. I have less experience with these wines, so I cant really speak to the acidity relative to other bottling or upon release.
