Community Tasting Note

February 14, 2019 - Valentines dinner with 3 other couples. A wonderful wine tonight. Aromas with floral notes and lavendar. On the palette the wine starts with blueberry fruit and then morphs to add smokey dark cherry and then tobacco leaf. The wine is deep dark colored with a long finish with resolved tannins.

2/15/19, 7:23 AM - The decant was 1 hour. The beauty of the wine revealed itself nearly immediately. Having had a number of older Spottswood’s I would that this is best right now. Acidity and tannins are you well balanced. Window is now through 2024.

...other Spottswood's I would SUGGEST that....

... acidity and tannins are ALSO well balanced .
